Well covers are artificial rocks that cover up unattractive well caps or propane pipes that stick up through your lawn. If the quality of craftsmanship is good, these rocks look like grayish or brownish granite and are very difficult to distinguish from the real thing. For instance, they might contain chips of mica, marble, or other ornamental rocks within their treated coating for an even more attractive and realistic appearance.

Well cover rocks come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, and colors. Because they are much lighter than real rocks, they can be shipped to your home via UPS or the U.S. Post Office. These rocks are also very popular for use in landscaping schemes and backyard ponds. They can be imaginatively used on the lawn surface, placed next to trees, inserted into retaining walls, or even submerged underwater to become part of a striking aquascape.
