NBC Bird and Pest Scotland opened its doors to the Perth Young Arts Club at the Blue Sky Centre in Perth offering the chance to get up close to some of nature's most beautiful birds in an art session.
Stuart Milne, a Senior Falconer for the NBC Scotland branch, offered Perth Young Arts Centre the chance to draw a Barn Owl, Eagle Owl, Kestrel and a Harris Hawk. The club created some wonderful pictures capturing the different colours in the birds' feathers and unique characteristics. Stuart later on held a question and answer session followed by a display offering a unique experience to see the birds in flight.
Gill Wilson, an organiser for Perth Young Arts, said 慡tuart sat very patiently holding a variety of magnificent birds for the children to draw. The more confident the children got the more they asked him and the better the drawings were. The children had the most wonderful experience.'
