One of the best household appliances right now is a lawn vacuum. It basically works like an ordinary vacuum, using suction power to collect and gather leaves in the container.
Lawn vacuums developed from leaf blowers. The main disadvantage of an ordinary leaf blower was, that it blew leaves on one pile, but the leave still had to be bagged and disposed of. That’s why a lawn vacuum is so much better. It collects, gathers and also bags the leaves, grass and debris.
There are several kinds of lawn vacuums. Different shapes are available, such as vacuums shaped as leaf blowers, vacuums shaped as lawn mowers and the kind that is made to hooked on a lawn tractor. They also have different functions, besides vacuuming. Some also include blowing, mowing and even mulching. Those with mulching option allow you not just to waste the leaves but use them as mulch for composting.
There are also three different ways of powering, when choosing a lawn vacuum. Cordless vacuums are powered by gas or battery, and corded ones are powered by electricity. The main advantage of corded electric vacuums is they don’t have to be recharged or refueled. That means that user is not limited with the time when tidying the backyard. On the other hand, these kind of corded tools aren’t as portable and mobile as the cordless ones.
