Using a night-light or shade frame as a pattern, cut the mica sheeting to the right size; hold in place with clothespins. Cut the copper foil to cover the seams, trimming the foil to size.
Lay the dried botanicals on the shade in your desired design. Rehydrate each dried botanical by gently brushing it with glue.
Add more botanicals to create a flowing design on the shade, hydrating each dried specimen with glue, then gluing it into place. Let the glue dry, then apply another coat.
