Pronunciation: dy-ass'-see-ah
Diascias are low-growing sun-lovers that produce countless, small Snapdragon-like flowers above delicate foliage from early summer to frost. They are suited to use along the front of a border as edging, or to fill in around the feet of perennials, or as trailing plants in containers. Perennial in zones 8-10.
Plant in full sun in well-drained garden soil. Prefers evenly moist soil. Remove spent flower stalks to encourage rebloom.
