LIGHT: Bright but indirect light is ideal; Freesias also grow well under fluorescent lights.
TEMPERATURE: Daytime 60-70°F, nighttime 40-55°F. The cooler the temperature, the longer the flowers will last.
WATERING: Keep the potting mix moist, but not soggy. Water when the surface of the potting mix is dry to the touch.
FERTILIZER: None is required.
GROOMING: Remove spent flowers as they fade to keep the plant looking fresh.
AFTER BLOOM: If you live in a mild-winter climate (one where the temperature never falls below 20°F), you can plant your Freesias outdoors after the danger of frost has passed. Gardeners in colder climates should discard plants after they bloom. They are unlikely to flower again indoors.
