Gaura

Gaura are tough, graceful, airy perennials. They may look delicate but they are quite hardy. Sometimes, they are called Whirling Butterflies because of the shape of their flowers and the way the dance in the wind above their foliage. They grow to 3 - 4 feet tall. And, their dainty flowers appear late spring to fall. Once they are established these waterwise gems need only low water.
