Grassroots Gardens helps create and support vibrate community gardens that make stronger neighborhoods, healthier people and a more beautiful city.

Their goal is to raise $250,000 by the end of May 2017.

~ Grassroots Gardens help 2,000 gardeners tend 300,000 square feet of previously vacant land. These are serious gardeners. They represent 30 cultural backgrounds and cultivate more than 150 different fruits and vegetables.

~ In 2010 the network included 46 community gardens. Today there are 105 and counting.

~ For the first time Grassroots Gardens will be purchasing the gardens where Buffalo’s gardeners work.
