Garden walk is fast approaching (only 10 days away)! We still have plenty of plants to fill any holes in your garden. Here are a few that are looking just spectacular this week.
The beautiful cone shaped flowers clusters on these hydrangeas are blooming now and look just spectacular. They continue to bloom into the early fall, and can thrive in a part sun environment. The plants may not look big now, but these bushes will grow to become a real feature in the garden.
These hibiscus are just bursting open! In light or dark pink they would add showy color to a sunny garden.
In blues, white and muted rose, these perennials are easy to care for.
We still have plenty of annual flowers and foliage plants left for filling any holes in your garden. The giant crimson Mandevilla, an annual vine, is just starting to bloom.
It’s exciting to see a monarch butterfly since their populations are dwindling. On Tuesday we saw one feeding on the blooming swamp milkweed plants. Monarch larvae feed only on milkweed plants, so having some in your garden is a good way to promote their populations.
