This Saturday, the 28th will be the final September workshop, Bulbs presented by David Clark. It is free and will take place at 3pm at Urban Roots Community Garden Center. October is right around the corner and we have a long list of workshops for novice and experienced gardeners alike. On Tuesday, October 1st at 5pm, Caesandra Seawell will be covering all you need to know about Putting Your Garden To Bed. This work(ing)shop is free and will be held at the Pelion Garden located at 206 Best Street. It is in the garden and an active workshop-please dress accordingly. On Saturday, October 5th at 3pm, David Clark will present End of Season Perennial Care. This workshop has a suggested donation of $10. It will be held at Urban Roots. On Saturday, October 12th the topic will be Native Plants. This workshop is free and will take place at the Grassroots Gardens of Buffalo office located at 2495 Main Street (Tri Main Building). Beaufort Willbern will be presenting this workshop. Finally, on Saturday, October 19th we will conclude the Fall 2013 Workshop Series with a double header. Back by popular demand is Composting Basics presented by Nicole Dionne and sponsored by UR and GGB. It will be held at the Grassroots Gardens of Buffalo office and will begin at 10am. There is no fee for this workshop. In the afternoon, head over to Urban Roots for Xeroscaping presented by David Clark. The workshop will start at 3pm and has a $10 suggested donation.
