I grew up on a 15 acre farm in Eden, NY, where my love for gardening, both out-of-doors, and under glass, was fostered by my parents.

I attended S.U.N.Y. Cobleskill, concentrating on Commercial Plant Production and Flower Shop Management, graduating with an Associate in Applied Sciences degree in Floriculture.

I have been a presenter and educator for over 20 years, beginning with floral design shows, and  branching out into ornamental horticulture classes.  Most recently, I am teaching the Horticulture I and II Certification courses at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens.
