Bulb planting time is around the corner, so Urban Roots is happy to offer an opportunity for you to learn all about bulbs.   David Clark will talk about tips on planting, pest management (oh, those pesky rabbits and squirrels!), and designing with bulbs.  He will also discuss wintering over the tender bulbs that need to come inside for the winter.

We are eagerly anticipating the arrival at Urban Roots of bulbs for fall planting.  This year’s selections were carefully and enthusiastically chosen by the staff and we are excited about offering some unusual and different varieties.  Watch this website for a post on bulbs coming soon!

David Clark has a Floriculture degree from SUNY Cobleskill and is a horticulturist and educator who has taught gardening and design classes at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens and Urban Roots.
