Buffalo First!, Grassroots Gardens and Urban Roots have joined forces to present a month of community engagement that will highlight different avenues by which non-profits, businesses and individuals can help Buffalo grow. The “Grassrooted” campaign will kick-off with an open house at Urban Roots on Saturday, April 30, from 2p.m. to 4p.m. Vendors have been invited to join us and promote their business or community organization, whether it’s protecting Western New York’s environmental treasures or locally sourcing to help our treasured economy. Participants so far include Urban Roots, Buffalo First, Grassroots Gardens of Buffalo, Green Options, Jericho Road Ministries, Lexington Co-Op, MAP, GrowWNY and East Aurora Co-Operative Market.
