Fall is here; the wind is gusting, the leaves are blowing and Urban Roots is having a major sale on Summer inventory.

– Annuals are $1.00 each. Pots are 20% off member-owners, 10% general public.
– Perennials are 75% off for Member-Owners and 50% off for the general public.
– Trees and shrubs are 40% off for Member-Owners and 25% off for the general public.

* This sale excludes our new Fall plant inventory.

Our Urban Roots Member Appreciation Day Party and Member-Owner Annual Meeting is just around the corner! A few highlights for the day include:

– 15% off for Member-Owners all day. Excluding for sale and consignment items. 10am-6pm
– Fall Plant Swap 10am-2pm
– Annual Meeting of the Members and Board Elections 4pm

As always, we welcome (and need) any interested Member-Owners to reach out to us to participate on the Board. The Board has many needs this year, but could really use the help of a Member-Owner with Human Resources , accounting and business management and building maintenance expertise.  To learn more about the Board please visit our About page.

If you are not quite up for a Board position, we continue to need help in the Store and Yard and are looking for any interested Member-Owners to participate in some of
the standing Urban Roots committees. Some of the Committees that are looking for new faces include Building, Finance and Planning, Education, Volunteer and Membership committees. Participating in a committee represents a great way to begin to get more involved in Urban Roots, the direction of your Co-op and the community.
