Do you know something we don’t? Do you have a special skill or ability to share with us? We are especially keen on the following:
•    advanced gardening/horticultural knowledge and a willingness to share it with friends and neighbors
•    an affinity for heavy lifting
•    construction know-how

If any of these qualities apply to you or someone you know, give us a holler and spread the wealth!  Urban Roots is growing and making improvements…and we can use your know-how and muscle. The Building Committee has a long list of immediate and long-term repair and renovation projects for the inside and outside of Urban Roots. We have projects for the store interior and grounds, as well as the residential and retail spaces for rent.  Every weekend, and even some weeknights, volunteers are needed to paint, build or install shelving, drywall, install lighting or plumbing fixtures, remove old flooring, install new flooring… you name it, and we need to do it! Whether you have an hour or two, or want to fully adopt an item on our improvement list, we have a project for you that will help maintain & improve Urban Roots.  We’d love to hear from anyone who might have some time to lend a hand.
