In 2008, we dug ourselves a well! Actually, Frey Well Digging dug a well for us. Water was clearly an issue from day one at 428 Rhode Island Street, with three tenants and our garden center making use of one water line.

Some research told us that it would be much less expensive, not to mention more sustainable, to dig a well than to add a second “water service.” The well drilling is in the range of $2,000 while a second water service would have been in excess of $15,000. We checked the references of two locally-owned garden centers (way out in rural suburbs) who have used Frey for well drilling, and  they have been very happy.
