Although most grasses grow best in full sun, there are several that tolerate part shade or even thrive in it.

Blue fescue (Festuca glauca) and most types of Miscanthus will grow well as long as they get several hours of direct sunlight daily. If you stretch the definition of grasses to grasslike plants, your options expand tremendously. Most of the sedges (Carex) grow well in shade. Lilyturf (Liriope), mondo grass (Ophiopogon), and hairy wood rush (Luzula acuminata) are additional grass look-alikes for shade.
