Companies that specialize in mowers are less common, but are known for the quality that their focus provides.

In recent years, there has been an increase in competition from companies abroad. Manufacturing labor is cheaper outside of the U.S., and China especially has been producing lawn tools to compete with American companies. This competition is healthy for the market, though, and is sure to keep the price of lawn mowers affordable while ensuring that the best possible products get made.
