Q: How do I plant centipede runners in my fescue grass?
A: It’s simple! Cut runners into twelve inch long pieces. Jab a shovel into the ground and put six inches of the centipede runner into the shallow trench. Use the heel of your shoe to mash the soil around the runner. The part below ground will root and the part above ground will begin to grow. Mow the fescue short all summer to inhibit it and give the centipede an advantage.
