'June' hosta has bluish leaves with irregularly shaped creamy gold centers. Pale lavender flowers bloom in late summer on 20-inch spikes. This medium-sized plant is a standout in shade or woodland gardens. It was the American Hosta Growers Association "Hosta of the Year 2001".
Noteworthy Characteristics:Large blue and gold leaves.
Care:Provide part to full shade and moist but well-drained soil. Keep areas around hostas clear of excess leaf debris to reduce the presence of slugs and snails.
Propagation:Divide in spring or fall.
Problems:Deer, snails, slugs, leaf spots, crown rot.
