The 'Eskimo' viburnum is an extraordinary flowering shrub with stunning parents (
V. "Cayuga' and
V. untile ). The pink-edged buds eventually open into elegant ivory snowballs. In the fall, the plant retains 60% of its leaves, which turn purple-black as fall progresses.
Noteworthy Characteristics:
It is covered with 3- to 4-inch-diameter spring flowers. The flowers are fairly sturdy, with fine-textured leaves that resemble dark green leather.
