Q: In the past I have collected cypress vine seeds and re- planted each year to have beautiful vines and flowers. This year I wanted to planter boxes and plant so they would grow up a spot where I had a lattice wall. As you can see the vine has grown beautifully but no flowers. What went WRONG?

A: I think it will begin flowering in a week or two.

When vines are growing vertically they don’t flower much. When they reach the top of whatever they’re climbing, they begin producing flower buds.
