Q: I live in Duluth and wanted to know if we can grow ‘Neem’ plant. If so, how and where can we get this plant. I was also curious if ‘Sandalwood’ ‘Teak’ and ‘Rosewood’ are grown anywhere in U.S. I come from southern state of Karnataka in India which is the top producer of quality sandalwood in the world.

A: Neem is a wonderful tree but it can be grown only in southern Florida.

The other trees need even warmer temperatures.
