Q: Last summer, I noticed that one of the 4 vines on an arbor (one planted on each corner) in my garden is dead. Then a second vine, from a completely different garden and location, died. Because one of the vines actually appeared healthy throughout the last growing season, I think a fungus caused the defoliation. Do you have any suggestions for a fungicide?
A: I’ve never grown glory vine, but Michael Dirr notes that he removed it from his garden because it didn’t live up to his color expectations. One source I found mentions the plant’s need for cool summers.
