Q: I have a problem with a weed that I can’t seem to get rid of. My friends call it carpetweed. Do you know this weed and if so what is the best way to get rid of it?

A: I do know carpetweed …my question is whether your friends know carpetweed. Many plants have the common name of carpetweed so I want to be sure we’re talking about the same plant. Unless I know exactly which weed you have, I can’t say how to control it.
