What is a good bonsai for indoors?

Question
Hi,

I would like to know what are some good indoor bonsai's. I had a juniper bonsai but it dried and crunched up. It was really doing well in my office (no direct sunlight# for a year but when i brought it home it died within 2 months #by the window#. My apt gets hot in the summers #since A.C. is not on when I am home) and cold during winters. What would be a suitable bonsai for these home conditions? Serissa? Dwarf Jade? Thanks!

Answer
The trees you mention below are great indoor trees, but all bonsai need light. If you don't have enough light in your apartment, the bonsai may not thrive. Jade, Chinese Elms, and Ficus tree are great indoor trees, but you will have to also watch the temperature fluctuation. Those trees are very tolerant, but they are tropicals and do not like temperatures below 60 degrees.
