Question
QUESTION: I would like to know if I can plant an evergreen in a container and put it outdoors.  My miracle question is can I use it periodically in Church for about 2 weeks and then put it outdoors again.  Is this a possibility and what plant would endure such a miracle?  Thanks, Sister St.Herman

ANSWER: Hi Sister, if I give you the right answer will you put in a good word with our Lord?....lol....deal?...ok...of all the choices, I would go with the Norfolk Island Pine, it is a good choice, for it likes a shady location and that would be in the church for the two week period, and then outdoors in a similiar shady area, don't expose it to extremes (this is crucial) or you will burn the needles. It is a very easy care evergreen, and if you Google "Norfolk Island Pine" you will get all the technical info you will need. Other choices could be  the "Hick Yew" and the Bosnian Pine...Nick.....PS..don't forget the good word:))

QUESTION: Nick, your request has been granted. I have used Norfolk Pine and was not successful.  I think the temp. in PA was too cold.  Any other suggestions.  I did put the pine indoors last year but almost had to move out myself. Thanks, God bless, SSH  I will google Hick Yew and let you know
