QuestionI bought some Charleston Gray watermelons and I saw you had informed someone else that it is possible to grow sugar babies in a container, I was wondering if it is possible to grow Charleston Gray watermelons in a container. If so, what would your recommend I do?
AnswerNo, you would not have it easy, if you try to grow Charleston Gray in a container. They are much too large. One melon would fill a container. They can get up to 30 or 40 pounds each. The vines are very large as well, covering several feet.
The sugar babies are much smaller, and easier to handle.
