QuestionHOW OFTEN DO I WATER IT?????
I RIGHT NOW HAVE ONLY ONE SPIDER PLANT,IT IS A BABY AND NO ONE TOLD ME HOW OFTEN TO WATER IT!!!!CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME???
AnswerSpider plants have large roots, that are almost tuberous. They hold a large amount of water in these large roots.
They will quickly fill the pot with roots and need to be repoted into a larger pot. If you keep them a little pot- bound though, they will produce more babies.
To answer your question, it is very hard to kill them. But you would be more likely to kill them from too much water, then not enough. So, just look for stress in the plant in the form of brown tips on the leaves, or pale color, and feel if the pot seems light. Then water until the soil is wet through. It can be a whole month or more before you will need to water again, depending mainly on the heat, and dryness of the air around it. But try to avoid watering on a schedule. Let the plant tell you when it needs water. This plant will not bother you very much for anything. It is always happy.
