Questionwe had some very hot days this year and burned the leaves. It has turned them a light brown , what can I do ?
AnswerMove the tree out of the sun. Give it plenty of water. Moisten some peat moss, and place it over the wet soil in the container. This will keep the roots cooler, and keep the top roots from drying out so fast.
When the temperature goes down again, you can move the tree out into the sun again. But, only when all danger of burning is gone.
As for the brown on the leaves, if it is not too severe, then trimming the damaged leaves off, will not hurt the tree. Make sure that the attractive shape is maintained.
