Bonanza Peach fruit flavor

Question
QUESTION: i have a bonanza Peach tree.  It is the first time to have fruit as it is a young tree.  The peaches are sort of tasteless and bland.  is there anything i can do to "sweeten" them up next season?

ANSWER: Sorry, there isn't much you can do. Keeping them watered regularly, will make them a little juicier. But, you will still need to be careful not to over water.
Picking them at their peak ripeness, will give them a better flavor. But these trees were not bred for good tasting fruit, like the Elberta, Cling, or Freestone, that we are more used to eating. They were bred for being what they are, a small "ornamental" peach tree.
There is still some satisfaction in knowing you grew the peaches yourself.

QUESTION: thank u...that anawers that.  i have wanted a bonanza peach tree for such a long time.  is there at least some nutritional value?  what i did is slike up the peaches and put some honey on top...that oughta help some.   is there a peach tree that does not grow too large?

Answer
You might try using them for pies, or cobbler. Try mixing them with other stronger, sweeter, flavored fruit.
Yes, they have the same nutritional value as regular peaches.
The dwarf peach trees do not do as well in containers. All of the regular peach varieties that I mentioned, come in a dwarf size. That means they are about half the size of a normal peach tree, you would see in an orchard. You will also get half the fruit yield. The fruit is very good on these trees, and easy to manage.
