Question
I have these plants, red and burgundy growing in barrels in my front yard. Now with a cold fall and winter fast approaching I was wondering if these plants could be replanted indoors into a ceramic planter?  Also if they can be planted indoors is there any potential hazard to animals?

There is no hazard to animals.
This plant is in the sage family. So it is related to an herb.
You can bring it in the house until it stops blooming, then discard it. When it is finished blooming it is pretty much done being beautiful.
