i grew my buogainvillea outdoors during the summer and it did quite well and want to bring it in for the winter.  how do i prepare it and keep it growing?

You can trim it back and it may survive.  It will definately not be as beautiful as this past summer.  I would recommend not going through the hassle of keeping it and just buy a new one next spring.  Some plants are worth overwintering, I just do not think a buogainvillea is (personal opinion)
