QuestionWhat is the best type of soil to use w/Brugs, and can I put these in the ground w/humus, dried manure/compost and peat? Can I use this same mixture if I use a container rather than potting soil?
Is Peter's 20-20-20 the best fertilizer for these magnificent brugs?
Thanking you in advance for any information!

AnswerWhere not hardy, grow in a temperate greenhouse in the winter. Then move them out side when the temperature is warm enough. Keep them just moist, not wet or dry, in winter. The minimum temperature should not go below 40-45 degrees. In containers, grow in a soil-based potting mix. I would recommend buying a good mix rather then making your own. Put the plant in full, bright, light. From spring to autumn, water freely and apply a balanced liquid fertilizer every 3-4 weeks. 20-20-20 would work fine. Do not fertilize if the temperature goes over 95 degrees. Make sure that the pot is large enough for the plant as it grows. Don't let it get over grown. Keep it pruned and shaped. If grown outdoors, grow in fertile, moist, but well drained soil in full sun.
A caution, all parts are highly toxic if ingested. Not recommended around small children or pets.
