Question
I was wondering if you could recomend the best fertilizer for this tree - some leaves look great but some a pale in colour & seem immature - I did fertilize it a few years ago & it did amazingly - but I can't remember the type I used.

depends on where you live and your soil content(pH, organic material, etc.). i 'm in southern NJ.
get to your local garden center/nursery and buy some tree fertilizer. ask them to recommend one for your particular area and tree.  i like espoma granular products(treetone). sprinkle 1-2 cupfulls(depending on the size of the plants) spread out on the ground around the plant. the rain will do the rest. now is the time to do it.
