Hi Kenneth..Over the last 3 years you have helped me with my lawn which you may recall we had hydro-seeded with all shade seed..You gave me good advise as we now have a pretty good lawn...You suggested that we use 24-4-8 fertilizer to permit good root growth and not tofertilize until late august and again in November...My question to you is ..now that the lawn is 3 years old should we continue with the same fertilizer or something different..Thank you...

The fertilizer brand is just fine. Continue to apply it primarily in fall (and in spring if you want) but do not fertilize during hot summer months.

You can also use a high potassium fertilizer once per year, such as 29-3-14, 20-5-15, etc. E.g. slightly higher last figure. If you can not find such a figure, then do not worry. The one you use now is just fine.

If you use it, use it late spring or late fall.
