QuestionHello;
I burnt a spot of lawn with to much fertilizer and I like to know how to repair it? This is something that happened 2 years ago and still no grass will grow in that spot. I used one of those push fertilizer feeders where too much comes out then you over lap then you can't see where you been kind of thing. Do they make a liquid grass feeder I can spray something like chemlawn uses? OK-OK two questions I better stop. THANKS
AnswerMix in some potting soil (w/o fertilizer) in the top 6-8 inches of soil. Then water very well.
You can buy miracle grow fertilizer watering units. they attach to garden hoses and is filled with miracle grow soluble (powdered) fertilizer. when you water, the water mixes with fertilizer and is dissolved prior to watering the lawn. It is small clear plastic watering units (cheap).
You can also look into organic lawn fertilizers, such as ringer, milorganite or espoma. these fertilizers have very low burn potential.
