Questionwhere can i purchase mycorrhiza powder?
do you like this product?
thanks
AnswerTry gardensalive.com or greenwoodnursery.com
Research show that plants can benefit from mychorrizal inocculation because the roots are then able to take up more nutrients compared to uninocculated.
However, way too much emphasiz is put on this in my opinion. In nature, mycorrhia can help plants perform well especially plants with few root hairs like some trees. But most garden plants preform fine without. In fact, they usually do better with regular use of fertilizer.
Note that research have also shown that high levels of phosphorus (such as in flowering type plant fertilizers) can surpress the effects. This may not necerssarily mean that fertilizers are bad for the plants, but maybe just that the plants are able to obtain nutrients on their own accord and thus do not need the mycorrhiza.
It is by far not all plants which benefit equally.
