QuestionI've started growing cacti seedlings indoors, started in a proffesional cacti mix. I'd like to start feeding them but I don't want to burn them. I burned up my first two soon after they sprouted, so they are quite stunted right now. I have a 1,7,6 cacti feed on hand with instructions to use once every two weeks. How soon can i start feeding my seedlings or should I even feed them at all since my cacti mix includes time release fertilizer? If feeding would increase their growth or health in anyway i'd like to do it, Thanx

AnswerIf your mix has time released fertilizer then do not feed until the seedlings are well established. The time release feed itself is stronger than anything you can add.
Once you start fertilizing, use 1 table spoon 1-7-6 and then increase to 2 table spoons per gallon later.
