Question
   Hi, I planted some Leyland Cyprus tress last fall. I used root stimulator when I set them out and again this spring. My question is. What type of fertilizer would be the best to use and what are the correct times of year to apply it. Any information you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

i'm in NJ. get to a local garden center/nursery and buy some hollytone by espoma (evergreen/acid loving plant fertilizer). spread 1-2 coffee cupfulls on the ground under the trees. the rain will do the rest. do it once in early spring and again in early fall.
