submerged flowers
I have a bride who wants submerged flowers for her centerpieces. Each vase is different, she wants to have tulips, mini calla lilies, orchids,and roses. How do I keep the flowers from floating?
AnswerOnly waxy flowers will work, Karen. Orchids, Gardenia, etc. are very good. Tulips are iffy... roses do ok.
You want to use what is called a 'pin holder' which come in sizes from tiny to massive, affixed to the bottom of the vase prior to it being filled with water. Use floral putty to affix.
