I don't have much experience basically I am starting out with my website selling on line for Valentines day I have done a arrangement with only 24 Roses and a foam just fell apart after being in the vase for 2 hours, I let foam soaked in water without pressing after it soaked a minute I began arranging My what I did wrong maybe the stems were too long? or I should used a netting? there was only 24 roses and it fell apart. What florist are using for large arrangements so the flowers will last, my arrangements will have to stay in peoples home for at least a week. Also the foam was left higher on top not totally submerged. Thank you Marina
AnswerFirst of all,Marina ,it is a lovely, artistic arrangement. You have a good eye.
Make sure your oasis foam is the firmer variety..not the one for soft delicate stems.
It should go to the base the the container in one piece. You can then tape a grid across the top attaching it to the container, or tape a net of chicken wire or any strong netting, attaching it with floral tape to the vase.
The only other problem I see is that it is very top heavy and will need a very well thought out method for delivery.
