I am arranging table centrepieces for a wedding and the bride wants orchid blossoms on moss--how can I ensure the orchids don't wilt??

Is you are talking about cut orchids, the best (and really only) way to ensure they stay fresh is to use water picks (tubes filled with water and capped with rubber stoppers that the stems pass through).  The picks are then covered and hidden by the moss.

Like all fresh material, please make sure your orchids are well conditioned prior to arranging.

The orchids are hardy as a rule, you should have no problems at all.
