Hi, can you tell me how to make carnation centerpieces arranged in a half dome in a colored vase or a bucket (stems not showing)? Also, how many would I need for a 5 and 3/4" opening and will they last for a couple of days if I make them beforehand? Thank you very much. Mariya
AnswerA semi sphere of wet foam affixed to the top ofyour vase with floral tape will work well. With an opaque vase, you wont have to worry about stems showing. You need a good amount of carnations... depending on the size of the blooms I would say about 9 to 12 per centerpiece to make them nice and tight. Enjoy!
