QuestionI am making centerpieces for my daughter's wedding. They are approx. 28' high cylinder vases with clear crystals at the bottom with a stem of green dendrobians. The vases will be filled with water up to about 3 inches from the top with a floating candle. We are having a problem weighting the flower stem to the bottom as it keeps floating up. What can we do?

Try wrapping a few coils of decorative wire around the bottom of the dendrobium orchids. Another suggestion is to hand tie the orchids to curly willow using fishing line ( monofilament wire . The curly willow can give it an upscale look while weighing it down. The picture I have attached is James Story Orchids that I hand tied with fishing line - and I intertwined the bottoms of the orchids with the next stem to hide the ends.
