QuestionI am the mother of the groom and, to save money, I am making the floral centerpieces for the reception tables. I have done amateur arrangements in the past, and the arrangements I've come up with (using silk flowers & branches) are attractive, but they are one-sided. The tables at the reception will be round. I don't know how to make these arrangements to be viewed from all sides without spending alot more money on flowers. I have all of them made already but am very concerned about the one-sided nature of the bouquets. What are your feelings and/or suggestions? Thank you so much for any help or insight!
AnswerI wouldn't use a one sided arrangement on a round table. Greenery added with berries can fill in for the back. You can hand tie a small group of flowers and plop in a vase, sit it on a mirrow and add
faux chrystals to embellish. There are other options to do besides
a one sided arrangement. Take some time and shop around at your local florist. Alot of times we give our customers ideas if they are doing their own flowers. A stem of daisies are very inexpensive and you can have several stems to use in a centerpiece. Look for flowers
that have several blooms on one stem. Use floral books and of course the internet. Let me know if you need more help! Good luck!
