Question
Hi,
I'm need to design 2 ceremony pieces in a 2 1/2' cylinder vase.  I tried to add 5lbs of rocks to the bottom, but I still don't have the height I need.
Please help!

Hi Krista - I'm not exactly sure what you are describing (I am UK based so there may be different terms) - is it that you are wanting to bring the level up so that your stems will have something to rest on?  Is this for a wedding?
If that is the case then I would try to make a vase within a vase - find a smaller vase that will fit inside your big vase and then disguise it by infilling the lower part and the area between the 2 vases with pebbles,rice, marshmallows, whatever you like.  You can put something in the bottom for the vase to rest on like a bit of polystyrene (which cuts down your weight) as long as you can disguise it with the infill material.
Then arrange your flowers normally in the top vase.
