I need advice on how to sell silk arrangements online. My job is slowing down for the summer and I need to make extra income. Thanks

It's difficult to do since the shipping is always an issue.  However, what I would suggest is that to sell in the first place you should have an online catalog showing some of the best pieces photographed well and against a plain backdrop - staging with an accessory or two always makes for a great shot, too.  Offering custom pieces and a phone consult will certainly set you up as a cut above the rest.  To ship, you absolutely must use a larger box than you think is needed (it takes a LOT of filler) and what I do is kind of snake soft tissue between the blooms and create an insulation so the arrangement stays intact.  I also use hot glue on the stems going into the foam so nothing lifts during shipment.  And mark it FRAGILE about 100 times!!!
