I just put some hydrangeas in an oasis, and they wilted a few hours later.  Do they work in oasis, and what should I do to prevent them from wilting.

Hi.  No, Hydrangeas don't do well in wet foam.  Theyneed a great deal of water drawn quickly.  The best way to handle them is to make a fresh cut and immediate plunge the last two inches of stem into boiling water.  Yes, boiling.  Plunge and remove immediately to put into your final vase filled with tempid water.   This method allows thenm to last far longer without wilt.
