Who can help me with the stuff I will need to make a funeral flower arrangement.  I am helping this family out, their mother passed away and they don't have a lot of money but would like 1-2 pieces of flowers by her casket.

Thank you for contacting me to answer your question. I would recommend you to contact the funeral home directly. They can let you know a great florist in the area that they work with. Don't be afraid to mention to the funeral director and the florist that you will be looking for less expensive options. A good florist can make anything beautiful with less money involved.
Another option for you to try is to contact your church and ask them if they have a florist that does their flowers for the altar. You might find someone in your community that can arrange beautiful flowers for a lesser cost.
An idea that would cost very little money is to have a rose from each of the Children and /or Grandchildren tied with a ribbon and then placed on top of her casket for burial. And then if they have either basket arrangements made or arrangements in paper mache pots at the service instead of easel sprays that will also help to reduce the cost and make a beautiful display.
